Long but Good Day
I kinda feel like today revolved around giving kids the stink eye, rushing from place to place, and taking a deep breath.
But, I did it.
I got through my whole entire first day that was not a blessed disaster!!! I had absolutely everything prepared, from homework to the smart board. I have survived!!! I have made rapport with my students, I feel like I have finally connected with one and all, and I have broken through. It's late October, but I feel victorious, even it's taken this long for one gloriously smooth day.
As well as sleepy and hungry for a celebratory cheeseburger.
(Go ahead, be judgy. Too awesome to care ;) )
